Sorry I have been missing in action.

I never intended to drop off the radar as soon as the wedding was over.

But by the time we got our photos back I felt I had really truly run out of wedding-related things to talk about.

Weddings aren't on my mind anymore and I'm happy to report that life goes on!

If I come across any super awesome wedding stuff I will continue to post it on West Aussie. But as I'm no longer actively looking for wedding inspiration it's likely to be sporadic at best.

However! You can now find me over at Desert Darling, where I have started a new blog. It's not really about anything.. but not limited by anything either.

Now we are settling into married life, settling into our new town, and new jobs I'm going to start gaining momentum with my posts over there, so please pop over to check out my new haunt.

I'm a techno dunce. It's sort of surprising that someone like me even has a weblog!

But I've had a few emails from people asking about email subscription... So I tried to figure out how to do it.. I clicked a few buttons, sent a few emails to typepad support, scratched my head for a while but couldnt get it to work.

Then out the blue I get an email from the lovely Aussie Amanda of The Wedding Blog fame who in a gentle and kind way described patiently the most simple way to set it up. And so I've done it!

And so just wanted to let you know if email subscription happens to be your thing then it's now available at WestAussieWedding. You can see it somewhere over on the right. (no pressure though! I'm not subscribed to anyone's blogs either)

Yesterday I found the Cake Wrecks blog and I can't stop laughing. (It's sort of like Go Fug Yourself but for cakes) 

I don't normally bother to follow links either! but if you haven't already checked out this site and you enjoy laughing at others bad luck it will soo be worth it.

6. This song! It's "Where Yah From" by West Aussie Hip Hop artist Drapht, from the Brothers Grimm album and I'm rating it!! It's upbeat and it appeals to my inner patriot. I always love the Aussie Hip Hop artists who actually sound Aussie.

Well that was a nice break from wedding stuff wasnt it?
