After searching high and low for beautiful jewelled flat sandals I suddenly did a complete 180.
Due to two things.
1. Deciding I wanted to wear heels because they look hotter.
2. Actually looking at my dress objectively and realizing that with it's wide straps and high neckline it isn't really even suited to 'strappy' style shoes.
I had this epiphany on my last day in Perth before my first dress fitting, which meant I had to get some shoes that day.
I went into Perth City and saw that Emporio had closed(!) which was a bad start. I went to all the usual places Zomp, Ninewest, Zu, Novo, David Jones, Myers.. but there isn't much out there if you don't want to get married in 6 inch stripper heels.
Eventually went down stairs to Shoeshow, which is one of those bargain basement places where all the shoes sit on top on boxes and you just help yourself, rummaging through the stack of boxes looking for your size.
I got these in ivory.

They appealed to me because they are are a 3.5 inch heel. They don't have any diamantes. I like the bows. They were $80. They had my size. I had run out time.
But yes they are very bridal, and very boring. To be honest I'm not really sure these shoes warrant a post.
But boring isn't always a bad thing. I wore them to my dress fitting and they suit the dress perfectly. She pinned my hem so I am pretty much committed to that heel size. If I wanted to go searching for a different style I could, but I can't be bothered. I have happily crossed shoes off my To-Do list.
