I'm very happy to see the official engagement photo of Prince William and Kate Middleton gives us a decent look at the famous sapphire and diamond ring.

Isn't it beautiful! And doesn't it look lovely on her hands!

So yes the rest of the country has put their clocks forward, but not Perth this year. boo.

Oh well! This hotel room reminds me that more night sky doesn't have to be a bad thing!

I would love to sleep here every night! What sweet dreams I'd have!

This is by far my favourite room at Hotel du Petit Moulin, the Parisian hotel decorated by Christian Larcoix. 

It's that outer space painting I love it!

I'd love to have some artwork like that hung above our bed.

It's like a grown up version of glow in the dark stars. Awesome

The Forecast

This crappy wintery weather we've been having lately has got me thinking.. about how much I hate crap weather. And how much it would suck to have wind, rain or hail on our wedding day. We are relatively unsheltered (have a roof but no walls) and I just generally don't like the cold much.

  

So I succumed. I paid $7 or something to get a long range weather prediction for our wedding next year.

I'm happy to see the prediction is for near perfect weather, and let me say I never realised $7 could buy so much reassurance. I'm allowing myself to believe it is accurate and reliable! I don't want to hear otherwise!

This is a book of short stories, written be a variety of female authors, which celebrates bosoms in all their forms

All royalties from the sale of the book goes to the National Breast Cancer Foundation

But even though this is obviously a very good cause I have to admit I totally judged whis book by its cover.

Something like this would make work well for a wedding invitation (obviously not exactly like this)

I'm talking about the pretty florals, the pink tones, the playful fonts...

Apparently you can predict the weather.

Event Weather is an online service which uses historical climate information and mathamtical algorithims to predict the most probable weather conditions, at various Australian locations, up to 12 months in advance.

It is 'as accurate as climatic variablity allows'..

Hmm.. Weather reports cost $6.95 each (cheaper if you buy more) and you get one date per report.

Despite being a little sceptical as soon as I am withing 12 months of my wedding date I am going to give it a go. I really really really want it to not rain on my wedding.
