Tassie

For us the decision to get married was a gradual one.. We'd been together for 5 years and the subject had started to come up more and more often.

Here is where we first seriously talked about making it happen.

The official proposal and ring came about 8 months later. It was simple and sincere and perfect and thats the story I tell people (if they ask)

But it really was that night, eating 2 minute noodles and drinking Cascade around the campfire, when we got the marriage ball rolling. When I got that first rush of butterflies and a racing heart and I couldn't sleep I was so excited

This girl makes me want to go back to being a blondie. I love her hair, not just the colour but the style too.

Bush Honeymoon

How is this for a designer bush retreat?

On an isolated property in the Central NSW.. accessible only by horseback, no electricity, collecting water from a raintank.. Its like a permament tent..

Its only small 3X3m and the corrugated sides open up to reveal a timber interior and act as a veranda during the day, close to keep the place insulated during the night

Yeah I know it's a load of superstition.. but I momentarily found myself wishing I was getting married in November instead of March... hehe..

I sort of like reading old wedding wives tales...they remind me of the history behind the whole wedding thing.. the above is from Victorian times, and many of the predictions are probably the result of pagan beliefs..? and is obviously geared towards brides in the Northern Hemisphere..

Coloured Gemstones

There are so many gorgeous coloured stones out there.. Many gem-quality coloured stones are much rarer than diamonds.. but I don't think that's why we don't see more of them.....

fresh herb table

There is nothing nicer than the smell of fresh herbs so this is a great way to decorate a table...  The greens are so lush against the crisp white, and the little pots look so sweet.
