When I made the appointment I gave her both our birth times dates and places and the list of dates we were considering. She went through each one with me, weighed up the advantages and disadvantages of each and also went through each day hour by hour and highlighted advantageous times to wed also times to avoid.
So to cut a long story short we now have a day and a time for our wedding. It's a strong, romantic day and our vows will be exchanged at a powerful hour. There is also a lucky moment occuring later in the night, which was too late to hold the ceremony but we will take advantage of it by planning another significant part of the wedding (first dance? speeches?) around that..
The Mr thinks I'm ridiculous and its all bullshit but is happy that I'm happy.. and so we are decided.
Ordering your invitations from India is a good way to get some eastern-style invitations at a very reasonable cost. Check out some of the stationary from Regal Cards.
They do Hindu, Sikh and Muslim cards but many of them do not have religious motifs and are just beautiful patterns and textures. Most of the cards are about USD$1 each, including envelopes and inserts, you send them what text and what format you want and they do a proof.. Once you have approved it they start printing.
This awesome City Beach venue usually hosts outdoor music andtheatre events like ballet and live bands
It is cut into an old limestone quarry and has great views of the city. It is like a blank slate but in a classy way.. imagine partying under a sparkling sky.
If I was going to have my reception here Id want to set up a marquee, to offer shelter from the sun as I've heard it can get pretty warm and there isnt much shade.
I think this venue would acutally be suited to larger weddings as the ampitheatre is pretty big and if you dont have that many people then the guests may rattle around. It can hold up to 644 people not that you'd want that many
